Who am I?
I am a dreamer, traveler, writer, singer and teacher. I’m married to a mountain of a man, both of stature and of heart, named Bob Blankenship and we have two amazing children: Noah and Madison a very large and very spunky husky mix named Katona. We are currently living in Tennessee.
I grew up the daughter of a preacher and knew from an early age that I also wanted to give my life to the ministry of God’s people. I have served in many capacities from administrative to pastoral. And have had opportunities to write with many churches and artists for their projects. It’s my heart’s desire to awaken creatives to discover who they are in Christ, whether that’s through writing curriculum, songs, sharing in conversation over a meal or a cup of tea, or helping lay the foundation of their ministry. I believe the Lord uses every part of who we are for his purposes and that’s what I surrender to each day.
I am currently teaching songwriting, homeschooling my kiddos, designing home interiors and books and writing, writing, writing!
But most morning you’ll find sitting with a journal or climbing a hill, writing and listening.
