TUNE YOUR EARS TO HEAVEN. I HAVE MANY THINGS TO SHARE WITH YOU.
Q: How can I tune my ears, Lord?
Just as you would a piano. Every flat or sharp areas in your life need realigned with me and the perfect tone of the spirit. Do this and your song will join heavens song in those places.
Q: Lord, what are the flat areas?
These represent areas where you have lost your passion and/or childlike wonder:
Passions are never truly lost, only misplaced. And there is nothing hidden from my sight! I know right where you left it and will restore them to you. Do you truly want them? Are you willing to accept all that they hold whether it be trial or treasure? Are you ready to chase after them? Oh how I wish you would!
Wonder is easily robbed from you in this life. Things that once brought you joy, things that you saw Me in, you stop taking time for. The smell of a rose, the shape of a cloud, the color filled sunset…
Allow me to renew your mind and remove the worlds filters from your eyes. Are you ready to see again?
For every day you live wonder-less you miss fresh revelation and everyday you live passion-less you miss your purpose.
What flat areas need tuned in your life? Have you lost any passion or your sense of wonder?
Q: Lord, what are the sharp areas?
These represent harsh or hypersensitive areas that need smoothed out in your life:
Harsh: When I heard the Lord say harsh, I was confused because I was thinking within only one definition of harsh; the one which means cruel or severe. So I looked up the word and I was reminded that the first definition of harsh is:
unpleasantly rough or jarring to the senses:
“drenched in a harsh white neon light” · “harsh guttural shouts”
Synonyms: grating · jarring · grinding · rasping · raspy · strident · raucous · brassy
Harsh light. Harsh sounds. You need to remove distractions. Stop staring at your screens and refocus your eyes on me. Stop listening to all the noise and quiet yourself to hear my whisper.
Hypersensitivity:
Some of us are sensitive souls. And our sensitivities are a blessing. We are discerning and compassionate and show the beauty of the Lord’s heart to others. Let’s look at the definition of sensitive:
1. quick to detect or respond to slight changes, signals, or influences.
Synonyms: responsive to · quick to respond to · sensitized to · reactive to · sentient of · aware of · conscious of · alive to · susceptible to · easily affected by · vulnerable to · attuned to · tuned in to · susceptive of
2. (of a person or a person’s behavior) having or displaying a quick and delicate appreciation of others’ feelings.
Synonyms: tactful · careful · thoughtful · diplomatic · delicate · subtle · finely tuned · kid-glove · sympathetic · compassionate · understanding · empathetic · intuitive · feeling · responsive · receptive · perceptive · discerning · acute · insightful
This area of strength can become a weakness when not kept in tune with and in alignment with the Spirit.
It goes from a sensitivity to a hypersensitivity.
Hypersensitivity: a tendency to be easily hurt, easily worried, or easily offended.
There’s a HUGE shift that happens between the two. It’s a turn from an outward focus on others and our environments (sensitive) to an inward focus on self (hypersensitivity).
What sharp areas do you need to smooth out? Are you distracted? Are you focused on yourself instead of others?
